Hey everyone! Sorry that I am late with this introduction to myself, but anyways, here it is.
My name is SimbaObsesser, who's real name is Lauren, and I'm a 16 year old teenage girl who loves Disney a lot (especially The Lion King, which I'm obsessed with!). I am also a big fan of The Hunger Games. I have such big appreciation for animated movies (which are my favorite type of movies to watch) and I hope to become an animator when I'm older. If I ever become an animator for Disney, that would be amazing (even Dreamworks would be amazing to work for ). I do not like anime, but I have nothing against it. I prefer American animation such as Disney, Dreamworks, etc.
Simba is my favorite Disney character and he's the one fictional character that's my role model. When it comes to real life role models, Temple Grandin is one of them because ever since I was a baby, I was diagnosed with Autism and even though I'm now high functioning, I'm still considered Autistic at some extent. She dealt with the same thing growing up and she's famous too. This applies to why Simba's my role model because we both had hard childhoods, had to adjust living life differently, had support during our childhoods, and fought for what we needed. He fought for his kingdom and throne. I had to fight against my Autistic behavior and work on my social skills and habits in order to become more like an average human being. It always feels special to have Autism be such a big part of my life and I also relate to Simba's personality traits (both cub and adult).
Anyways, I'm glad I'm here! Disney fans unite!
